15-Day Uganda Adventure: From Forests to the Wild North

This January and February, join us on an unforgettable 15-day adventure across Uganda, designed for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, and cultural explorers. From dense tropical forests and volcanic mountains to remote savannahs and vibrant communities, this journey showcases Uganda in its rawest and most beautiful form.

We begin with herping experiences in Mabira Forest, including evening and night walks, followed by camping under the forest canopy. The journey then takes us east to Bududa, where we explore local life before heading into the dramatic landscapes of Mount Elgon National Park for multi-day trekking through forests, waterfalls, and highland trails.

After descending Mount Elgon, we travel through eastern Uganda toward the Karamoja region, stopping in Kachumbala before continuing to Moroto. Here, we experience rich cultural encounters and enjoy an evening safari in the Matheniko Wildlife Reserve.

The adventure deepens with immersive visits to Karamojong communities before heading north to the remote wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park. Expect nature walks, day and night safaris, and some of the most breathtaking scenery Uganda has to offer.

From Kidepo, we travel south to Gulu and onward to Murchison Falls National Park, where powerful waterfalls, wildlife drives, and night safaris await. We also visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before returning closer to Kampala.

The final days focus on herping near Kampala, cultural experiences, great food, and relaxation in the capital city. The journey concludes with a calm morning at the Botanical Gardens before departure.

This tour is a perfect blend of adventure, wildlife, culture, and conservation—crafted for travelers who want to explore Uganda beyond the ordinary.
